Peterson Trucks has an immediate need for an experienced Inside Sales Representative (ISR) at our San Leandro, CA location. The person in the position answers telephone calls from prospective customers and makes outgoing telephone calls from a customer list. The ISR will also generate invoices for all sales and will promote all Peterson services to new and exisiting customers.
Selling to customers by answering in-bound calls and placing calls to customers from a customer list
Up-sell and promote all products and services offered by Peterson to customers
Inform customers of specials and promotions offered by ALL departments and divisions of Peterson
Contacting customers on the telephone from a customer list on a planned basis to maintain customer contact and create awareness of new products, services and other Peterson solutions
Understand customer's current business situation and truck population by asking questions of customers and updating CRM database
Maintaining accurate customer equipment information regarding services needed by updating database and Navistar system
Generate invoices and coordinate deliveries to customers
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a good working knowledge of all –make truck parts and a customer service background in a service related industry.
