Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Rental Coordinator at our San Martin Idealease location. The person in the position performs a wide variety of lease & rental sales and marketing duties requiring knowledge of all Navistar products and services for which Peterson is a dealer. Maintains close liaison and frequent communications with customers and works to develop new business. Coordinates and cooperates with several departments to accomplish job
Calls on new and existing rental and lease prospects
Creates rental contracts and inspects equipment for damage once returned.
Creates and delivers Full Service Lease quotes to small fleet prospect of one to two units.
Maintains a customer and prospect sales database using Saleslink and the Idealease portal.
Calls customers to obtain and give information and help to resolve questions where knowledgeable; schedules and arranges for Contract Service appointments.
Coordinates the Contract Schedule Service activities; informing the service technician the location and type of work to be performed and dispatches technician to jobsite. Establishes and maintains electronic and hard copy files and filing systems; sets up and maintains reports, records and schedules as needed and uses computer to generate reports as directed.
Provides other clerical and administrative support to as may be needed, types letters, job quotes, purchase orders and other related documents; makes appointments, maintains schedules and appointment tickler files; makes copies and uses FAX, mail system, or otherwise distributes work related materials both inside and outside of company.
Maintains vehicle files, insurance, customer files; updating and organizing records as needed.
Contact customers to obtain purchase orders and collect mileage for rental and lease contract billing.
Creates, sorts, mail and scan invoices to customers. Invoice citations that occur during the rental agreement.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or and at least one additional year of related training in administrative and customer service work; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
