Peterson Cat has an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator in San Leandro. This position assists with coordinating advertising and marketing programs for Peterson Cat, authorized Cat and AGCO dealer in northern California, Oregon, and southwest Washington:





  • Reports to Marketing Manager with additional direction from Peterson Cat management
  • Assisting in development and implementation of corporate marketing and promotion programs, including the use of all applicable outside sources and inside media.
  • Conducting special market research as requested; analyze collected information, develop reports and recommendations summarizing marketing campaign effectiveness through analytics
  • Planning, organizing and attending trade shows, employee or customer meetings, special events, and open houses; travel as needed.
  • Keeping abreast of key developments in construction and agricultural technology and related industries, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with special projects and other duties as necessary.


  • Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, or English; and at least two years of related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must be proficient in MSOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Graphic design skills are a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills and a customer service orientation are musts
  • Must be able to travel occasionally as needed.
