Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Customer Service Inventory Clerk at our Portland location initially but moving to Hillsboro within two months.  The person in the position is responsible for inside sales, answering phones and transferring incoming calls, energetically and professionally, greeting walk-in customers and visitors, and discussing service repair estimates, product pricing, and repair lead times with customers.  Ensure showroom is clean and stocked with accurate pricing on products and accessories, and shipping and receiving.  Work closely with the Inventory Control Coordinator to ensure Asset Serial Numbers are Tracked and Registered. 

Responsibilities

Answer phones and transfer calls per customers or callers request.
Provide “Customer First” customer service to all walk-in customers and visitors.
Keep showroom stocked, priced, and clean.
Maintain communication with Service Technicians regarding customer requests.
Perform data entry into CRM for product repairs. Asset Registration on Manufactures Web Portal.
Complete service work order estimates for technicians.
Assist staff with communicating about estimates, approvals, and getting repairs back to customers.
Contact manufacturer and complete warranty claims in database.
Match packing slips to purchase orders and file in appropriate place / order.

Qualifications

Possess high school diploma, or the equivalent, and one to three months of related experience with at least one year of administrative experience. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
