    Peterson has an immediate need for an experienced Field Lube Technician at our Eugene, OR location.  The person in the position performs preventative maintenance to machines and components in the field used in heavy equipment industry customers. The person performs light mechanical repairs and/or diagnostic work on heavy equipment as needed. 


    Troubleshoot and perform repairs on heavy equipment and components in the field.
    Perform preventative maintenance on heavy equipment including changing oil and filters, service greasing, and light mechanical work.
    Operate overhead cranes, hoists, power tools and other shop equipment in a safe manner.
    Complete service reports, time cards, and other related paperwork.
    Provide required tools as designated by company tool list.
     Attend all training classes and profit center meetings as scheduled.


    Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience in preventative maintenance and service repair of heavy equipment and components and shop work is preferred.
