    Peterson Tractor has an immediate need for a Corporate Back Order Analyst at our San Leandro, CA location.

    Responsibilities

    The Corporate Back Order Analyst has overall responsibility for all parts backorder administration and oversight for assigned region.

    • Analyze sourcing of back ordered parts
    • Entering Back Ordered parts to Caterpillar (CAT) through ANATRES
    • Obtaining estimated ship date (“ESD’s”) for all orders, Internet customers and stores
    • Contact CAT shipping facilities for order changes/corrections; EDO orders and expedite orders
    • Responsible for placing literature orders
    • Matching pick tags with sales orders for Warehouse personnel
    • Adding freight charges to sales orders
    • Update and create tickets to Customer Inquiring Database (“CID”) web for CAT orders
    • Responsible for Customer Backorder and Shop Order Action Pending Reports and No Location Reports
    • Cashiering responsibilities including credit card, CAT Commercial, COD and cash-box management.
    • Provide backup support for parts/service calls and counter documents
    • Other duties as assigned including, but not limited to, administrative tasks, filing and ordering office supplies.

    Qualifications

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Data entry experience preferred.
